Frequently asked questions

What is Virtual Reality (VR) ?

Virtual reality is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. Applications of virtual reality include entertainment (particularly video games), education (such as medical or military training) and business (such as virtual meetings). Other distinct types of VR-style technology include augmented reality and mixed reality, sometimes referred to as extended reality or XR.

What is Augmented Reality (AR) ?

Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory and olfactory.[1] AR can be defined as a system that incorporates three basic features: a combination of real and virtual worlds, real-time interaction, and accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects

What is Reality?

Reality is the sum or aggregate of all that is real or existent within a system, as opposed to that which is only imaginary

Are we living inside a simulation?

Yes.

Can I come and visit your studio and VR lab?

Of course. Book a visit and we'll give you a tour!

Unity or Unreal?

Each has their strengths and weaknesses. The gap is closing is both directions. We've worked on a few Unreal projects but Unity tends to be used on projects that have roots in iOS and Android or originated on Desktop and now need porting to VR.

Is Flash Dead?

Long ago we used to be Flash developers producing the best interactive content the world had to offer. HTML5 has completely replaced flash now and if you want something simpler we can discuss options down that road. However WebGL offers a number of advantages and is supported on a wide variety of platforms and can re-use raw assets from the desktop and VR versions so it's worth considering.

When are you available?

We have a medium sized team and collaborate with others so we can quickly scale up if need be. Effectively we're always available and can get your next project booked in right away. So what are you waiting for!

Are you sure we're living inside a simulation?

We've build lots of simulations for various games. And some of the sims in those simulations have indeed now begun developing their own sims. So I'm pretty confident... Litzergam
